About the Game
DARKWEAVE is a retro-styled 3D action RPG inspired by the Soulsborne games.
The game was an exploration in TrenchBroom integration with Godot using func_godot with the idea being to allow players to create their own worlds / campaigns to share on the Steam workshop.
Features
- Souls-inspired melee combat: attack, dodge, and sprint with stamina-style pacing
- Lock-on targeting: focus an enemy and cycle between targets mid-fight
- Magic projectiles: aim and cast to soften enemies before closing in
- A grim retro aesthetic: authentic dithering, low-res textures, and hand-crafted levels
- Full controller support: play with keyboard and mouse or a gamepad

Hey, Pretty cool game you've made and the environments really cool too. But the post processing pixelated effect makes it so hard to concentrate on the player and started to hurt my eyes.
Thank you for playing JJack! I greatly appreciate the feedback. I added new VFX toggles to the main/pause menu to turn these effects on and off.
Killing all enemies now brings you to the “Village” level (but there’s no enemies currently)
